Hailing from the Pala Band of Mission Indians, Attorney Huss has a deep connection to her Native American heritage, which informs her legal work and advocacy efforts. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, where she immersed herself in the study of family law and honed her legal skills. Complementing her legal education, she holds a Master's degree in Human Behavior from National University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.

During her tenure as a summer law clerk at the California Indian Legal Services (CILS), Attorney Huss demonstrated her passion for social justice by providing invaluable legal assistance to Native American communities. Her dedication to serving underrepresented populations underscores her commitment to making a meaningful impact through her legal career.
